In order to receive a transcript evaluation, you’ll need to request an official transcript from your prior institution. Acceptable official college transcripts are issued directly from the institution, either by mail or electronically.
Transcripts sent by email should arrive in the original sealed envelope to be counted as official.
Please send all official college transcripts to:
Liberty University Online Admissions Verification
1971 University Blvd.
Lynchburg, VA 24515
An official transcript can also be submitted through an electronic transcript database provider such as Scrip-Safe, Docufide, Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, or others. This electronic transcript should be sent directly to Liberty via the school’s system. When an email address is requested, use “luoverify@liberty.edu”.
If you have completed secondary education or college-level academic coursework outside of the U.S. please have your transcripts evaluated by a credential evaluation service provider that is a member of the National Association of Credential Services (NACES ® ).
Non-Transferab le Courses
Coursework must be at least 2/3rds the number of hours required by Liberty. For example, BUSI 310 is taught as a 3 semester hour course. In order to receive credit for BUSI 310, the transfer course must be at least 2 semester credits. This satisfies the 2/3 rule.
The 2/3 rule may create a shortage of credit hours (all coursework is met, but a total of 60 or 120 hours is not). Additional credit must be taken to meet the credit hour requirement.
If the institution attended was based on a quarter system, then the credits will be converted to the semester system. Liberty uses the following conversion rate: 1 QH = .67 SH
The above policies are established by the Committee on Academic and Admissions Standards.
